About Us

UM Foundation established in 2000 has been pioneering community events and media projects in the Toronto Muslim community. In 2000 we launched Radio Islam on Chin Radio and launched a monthly newspaper called United Views. Muslim Heritage Days with Canada's Wonderland, Ontario Place and Royal Ontario Museum were also intiatied. UM also worked with senior management at Canada's Wonderland and Ontario Place to set up Multicultural prayer rooms. UM Foundation seeks to create unity through projects within the diverse 1.3 million Canadian Muslim community.
